How much days prior shall I shift in hostel before first day of college...??

So I gave GECET test and now they say I have 0 percent scholarship like???? Sure as hell I might have scored more than 25 . Like in Phy,Chem only I knew almost every question worth 2 marks like do how is this even possible or they might cancelled me due to ufm because of secondary camera position of my phone ??

How do I book hostel, As A fresher , Do I have to go there , it doesn't show any options at the student site , it just says please select menu from menu bar , do we have to go there and get the hostel or what??

joining gedu this year as a btech sce student

never stayed away from my parents before so lwk very scared

okay so i have got 2 backs in my 2nd sem , I was genuinely expecting a good sgpa as my exams went well, atleast back was not in my radar.

idk just maybe if its an error in checking, is re-evaluation worth it?

does anyone have any past experience with that or anything you know could help

I'm joining btech cse at graphic era university (deemed), dehradun this year

I recently found out that the on campus hostels are already full and the university is saying that only off campus non ac hostels are available now. I've also heard from a few people that the hostel food isn't that good so some suggested taking a pg or rented room nearby instead

If any seniors are currently living in a pg or rented room could you please share your experience?

- Which pg/room would you recommend?

- What's the monthly rent and food cost?

- How far is it from the campus?

- Is it safe, especially for girls?

- How is the food, wifi, and overall environment?

- Would you recommend a pg over the university hostel?

Also snce btech classes are starting from 3rd Aug when is the orientation/induction usually held? Is it before classes begin?

What all happens during the orientation? Is attendance compulsory and do parents need to accompany students?

Hey I am considering graphic era for btech is it a good choice can anybody tell me the ground reality

Is there any senior from gehu bhimtal I want a honest opinion on on-campus placements and how's the other things hostel,faculty,mess, sport's

First year felt like shit because of -

1. Shitty subjects and labs.

2. Stupid assignments.

3. 4 projects + term works in the last month before end term. (DAMN!)

4. Coding ka maja nahi aaya college me. I found the nvidia and ios labs are not open for all, whats the use of them then.

5. Professor - 🤬

6. Attendance

7. Most clubs in college felt more like they were doing social media outreach and marketting rather than real stuff.

So any suggestions to survive the 2nd year. 😁

MBBS sucked so much, I have been depressed for 1 full year cause of it, ik it may not sound wise rn but I'll be happy with biotech(B Tech),and it's fun

And GEU cause, I realised it late and all the entrance exams are over

Can you people please tell how is GEU?
