I was watching it until damn Kuaikan blocked. The ML's family faces bankruotcy so he breaks poor student FL's heart. Later she is found by her wealthy family and returns to find ML.

P.S. I am cussing because I even downloaded the Kuaikun app but it is without sub. They are blocking a lot of content. Anyone knows how to watch Kuaikun content with sub or where people upload their contents before YT slams them.

Usually we are fed the cross-class romance. Rich girl falls for poor guy. Cdramas however doesn't have shortage of equal status couples but mostly love after marriage. In usual settings rich girls fall for poor guys, the more popular trope. The rich fiances are rich, snobish cannon fodders who lack substance. However, there are many stories where they do a soul search in life in high society.l snd find tge rich boys are more humane than the other guys. Though you can't beat being poor, We disvover the rich fiances are characters who fight demons (strict family rules, lack of choices, rigid disciplined life and lack of freedom and individuality). The worst part if you are a introvert and poor you get cared for by beautiful rich heiress. But, if you are introvert and rich you are not even human but a money minded machine who is not programmed to love. A story as such is A perfect match/marriage/When love is light/Secret live to marriage. I love the story so much that more than the drama I care for the story. Have seen 3 versions and watching Secret live to marriage (Haonan and Yiying).

Synopsis: Xixi and Qi sinian are childhood friends. Grew up close together. Both are feom rich families and both families are close. Sinian is a introvert who fell for Xixi. Xixi fell for Huo xin, a poor boy in college. Sinian kept his crush a secret. Xixi and Huo xin planned to elope. But, the boy ditched her for money while she had already ran away from home. Left heart-broken and alone Sinian picked her up. She lost faith in love agreed to marry Sinian reluctantly as her family was facong bankruptcy. 4 years of cold marriage her ex returns. Xixi goes to meet him to cut off clean and get closure(This is the start of the story) He wants her to divorce her husband and be with him. She shows her firm stance with her husband and makes things clear with ex. But, Huo xin starts stiring trouble which forces the couple to break their cold marriage and stand together. Xixi who either never saw Sinian's care for her or mistook it for obligation has to face it now. This is a journey of 2 loves, a fight to see who's dream sees the light.

Usually we are all for old love coming for second chances and meeting happy ending. Past misunderstanding clears up and old boyfriend wins back the girl while the new husband is defeated or gracefully retires. However Sinian is a character that is rightly placed in the middle. Not old,not new, not in the right, not in the wrong. He was there gor her when they were little, he was there when she fell for the other and when everyone abondoned her he was still firmly with her. Even when her ex came to wreck everything she currently has he stood by her. It's story that made me think, is love at such young age really just impulse, then what about other stories, maybe all stories are different. Her's was a youthful impulse too young to mix freedom and rebel with love too young to see Sinian's quiet devotion.
