It sure has been a hot minute since I've posted a stand here.

『Worker Ant』-

Namesake- The song Worker Ant by Grim Saint

Appearance-
I didn't bother coloring anything, So imagine some very light blue and dark blue going on.

Abilities- Labor
Worker Ant is a suit type stand with some very specific features. Its main ability is to give its user the proportional powers of an ant. This means that while the suit is activated, the user can lift 10-50 times their body weight, and this power is reflected to every tendon and muscle of the suit, making the user an extremely powerful fighter, able to run at break-neck speeds, jump massive distances, grip onto walls, and the tail can dent steel etc.

However, this comes with some massive downsides. When activating the suit, the reasoning of the user falls to extremely primitive levels, like that of an insect. On top of that, the user can only activate the suit when they accept some sort of task from a recognized superior. This task will then be the only thing on the user's mind. The task has to be very well worded. Worker Ant is brutally literal and goal-oriented. For example if the superior were to say "Stop that person", Worker Ant would interpret it as "Stop person from moving", Which given Worker Ant's abilities, is easiest done by ripping the person to shreds.

“Recognized superior" does not refer to official rank. Alissa has to genuinely accept the person’s authority over her in that moment.

Once the task is given, Worker Ant will not stop until the task is completed, or it is unable to complete the task in the time limit of 1 hour. The user’s body cannot last much longer. After the suit is removed, the user is extremely physically exhausted and might faint. Of course, Worker Ant won't activate if the given task is too complicated to understand, or is physically impossible.

I guess it would be wrong to call it a suit-type stand. Its more of a dormant transformation, but the user is still inside the stand suit-style, so it probably counts.

User- Alissa Newhill
Alissa Newhill is a 22-year-old Scottish woman. She was just a normal woman really. She got an office job at a young age and just... did that for a while. However, she harbors an immense distaste for being controlled. She didn't realize this until she had to do what her superiors told her to do from 9 to 5, 5 days a week. Alissa has a very short temper, and... An incident occurred when she manifested her stand. The American government department of DSS (Department of Stand Surveillance) caught wind of this. They quickly sent a message to the British equivalent authorities, to transfer her over due to the immense usefulness of her stand.

After a bit of initial difficulties, she now works a support role in government field work of deterring dangerous stand users from committing violent crimes. However it is immensely difficult to get her to accept any kind of a task. She generally only accepts a task if refusing the task would violate her pretty decent morals. She can't stand still while watching innocent people die for example.

『Reflections』

Abilities- Liquidation
Reflections is an ability type stand that lets its user turn anything they touch into liquid. This is quite similar to Oasis, but there are differences. The amount of control for example. The user of Reflections can for example, Only turn a part of what they touch into a liquid and can also turn living beings into liquid.

User- Itzhak Malice (Mainly known as "Bandana")
Itzhak is a government agent working for the SDEU unit (Stand DEtainment Unit). As you can probably see from his design language and name, he is a quite the edgelord. He is very uncomfortable with sharing personal details from his life, cold and pragmatic, which honestly makes him for a very good government agent. He works together with Ralph, another SDEU agent, and he has his time full trying to manage the guy.

『Sweet Home Alabama』

Abilities- Grandma Time
Sweet Home Alabama is a complicated stand to explain verbally, but I guess I'll try. Essentially, it is an object-type stand manifesting as a rickety sort of a bird hammer as seen in the picture. When activated, the parts of the hammer; eyes, The upper and lower half of the beak, wings etc. launch off in a circular area, dragging a spring behind them, Essentially enclosing anything inside the circle into a spring cage. Inside this cage, time is drastically slowed.

Beyond the ability, the hammer makes for a devastating weapon.

User- Ralph
Ralph has a few bolts loose. He is a crazy, eccentric and loud hillbilly who is for some reason obsessed with moonshine, and the fact if one is a redneck or not. He was hired by the government due to the obscenely useful nature of his stand, and quickly became Itzhak's problem.

The SDEU units of the USA government are special Stand-units with the task of detaining rogue and dangerous stand users. That is why their abilities are rarely suitable for combat, and are more strategic or detainment-focused.

(Also, please don't think that Ralph's stand being named "Sweet Home Alabama" means anything relating to incest. 😭🙏 The song name just fits the guy!)

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star-

Namesake- The well known nursery rhyme "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"

Abilities- To the Moon
Any target scratched by TTLS's razor-sharp arms starts slowly levitating upwards indefinitely. The effect only wears off when another human touches the object that levitates, or the human that has subjected to levitation dies.

Obviously this does not work on bolted objects, as the levitation is relatively weak. The levitation effect does not work, if the target is too hard to be scratched by TTLS's arms.

User-
The user is an 8 year old girl whose puberty has started early. Confused by the changes that are happening in her body and brain, the stand takes an almost androgynous form, having artifacts of both her childhood love of space, but also her to-be adult life.

This stand was designed 6 November 2023, only two months after I began drawing, and I was just really curious to see how far I have come as an artist. That's why the user psychology etc. is horrendously underdeveloped. 😭🙏

Jacal-

Abilities- Escape
Jacal is an ability-type Stand that allows its user to connect the door of any enclosed space to a door in another enclosed space by touching it. The ability's range is infinite, but if the user has never been to the destination, or does not know how to reach it normally, the accuracy fluctuates, sometimes by whole countries. The connection disappears if the user touches the door again and the door closes.

User- Dmitri Webster
Dmitri Webster is the greatest trafficker on earth. His services can get anything from any point to anywhere, as long as it can fit through a door.

Dmitri himself is a lazy, indifferent man. Naturally he would be. His ability makes it possible for him to avoid committing to anything and to escape the consequences of almost anything he does. Any relationship, any crime, any country, he can just open a door, walk through it, close it, and start over.

Plastic Beach-

Plastic Beach is a phenomenon type stand residing in an unspecified location on the east coast of USA.

Plastic Beach replays strong emotions left by humans in the form of plastic humans made of rubbish that was left on the beach.

Beaivi Áhčážan-

Namesake- Nils-Aslak Valkeapää’s Sámi poetry-and-image work, later adapted into music. The title translates to The Sun, My Father.

Abilities- Unwavering, like a mountain.
Beaivi Áhčážan Allows the user to take control of the mountain they are currently standing on. Upon activating, the stand will build itself out of the stone of the mountain, making a 100 - 500 meter tall (depending on the size of the mountain) Gigantic stand that the user has free control of. Along with the gargantuan stand, the user has free control over the mountain body, with the ability to construct spikes, walls, arches etc.

What constitutes as a mountain? Well I would say a distinct landform rising at least 300 meters above the lowest saddle connecting it to higher terrain. It controls only the mountain mass above that boundary.

User- Aslak Aikio
Aslak Aikio is the chief of a fictional little community of the Sami people. For those who do not know, The Sámi are the Indigenous people of Sápmi, a cultural region spanning northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia’s Kola Peninsula.

Aslak became a chief in his community at the young age of 35, and he had immediately a full headache to solve. A tourism company had secured the rights to develop a ski resort across land used by his community, threatening their settlement, grazing routes, and access to everything culturally important for them. He needed a lot of money, and fast. He heard of a 50 million dollar bounty that was put on the heads of three people that were sent to Finland. He quickly decided, Without hesitating, that he would commit the greatest sin for his people. There was almost no question, as his dedication for his people is unwavering, like a mountain.

Im making a stand for a Finnish musical student, and the stand probably has to do something with music, but also maybe not. (my creation process is complicated.😅)

My question is, Should I go for an object stand (left picture would be the base) or recycle this good stand design from years ago? (right picture)

『Melancholy Hill』

Localized name -『Sad County』

Namesake- The song "On a Melancholy Hill" by Gorillaz

Abilities- Burial Site
Melancholy Hill is an object-bound stand bound onto a shovel. The visual manifestation does not act in any matter, just serving as a signal that the ability is activated. (and aura farming.)

Melancholy Hill gives its user the ability to control anything they have buried at least 30 centimeters (1 foot) under the ground. This includes things such as corpses, wood, weapons, any non-alive object. The control is quite generic, with the extent being able to press a guns trigger. Control finer than that is impossible.

Melancholy Hill also has the secondary ability to instantly bury anything that his shovel touches. For example, if a person were to throw a punch at the shovel, their fist would get buried in the ground.

User- Merry Adante
Merry Adante is a grave digger on a small cemetery near Morristown, New York. He mainly uses his stand to fend off teenagers from disrespecting the cemetery he works at, and is not necessarily a bad person. Just pessimistic, cynical, grumpy and apathetic.

Merry has history of just... being late. He had a love interest 40 years back. It is just that he waited too long before even talking to her, so time took the better of her. He, sad and mad at himself for being like this, chose to work at the cemetery she was buried at, to punish himself by working himself to the bone and metaphorically "burying" his past behind him.

Shout out to u/Realistic-Low2157 for coming up with the baseline of the abilities of the stand and the story of the character.

『Temper City』

Abilities-
The stand gives the user the ability to learn anyone's inner state of mind, future plans, et cetera if the victim Imagines something. This means in specificity a concrete visual, plan or an imagined sensation that has not happened or does not exist. A lot of human thoughts fall under this umbrella.

In combat, this is useful because a talented fighter will plan what they will do or how they will try to feint their opponent. This means that fighters will practically tell the user what they are gonna do next, because brains usually process some sort of a plan, even though the fighter may not experience a consistent thought.

User-
currently unknown. Imagine a big, bulky fighter dude, who is hellbent on winning and fighting.

『iGhost』

Abilities-
iGhost has the ability to become untouchable. No, literally untouchable. Any attempts to interact with the stand or the user just phase through. This ability however, is only activated with one very specific condition. If the victim lies to the user, the ability activates. The definition of a lie in this case being an unfactual statement that the victim knew to be unfactual. This ability warrants the user to use a bit of psychology or such to get the victim to lie, or to talk in the first place. It only really works if you don't know the ability and such. To break the ability, the victim has to do a very simple thing. to admit that they lied. This however is a really unfair condition, since who in the middle of the fight stops to go "Sorry by the way, I lied."?

User-
currently unknown. For some reason im imagining David Martinez from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, so just imagine him using this stand. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

『Christmas Kids』-

Abilities-
In 2008, The Dutch government sent an important message concerning stands to all the major governments of the world. A 17 year old girl in Lisse had been observed using a stand. This stand had the most reality breaking ability ever recorded. The ability to reject death. The stand, named Christmas Kids, allowed Ada to reject a person's death by sacrificing half of her life span. This ability could be used only once. And she used it on a teenage boy her age. Ultimately it was decided that nothing would be done with this information, other than try to observe civilian stand users more effectively.

User- Ada Grettle
The girl had this outrageous stand power for a simple reason. She was in love. This love was engraved so deep into her soul, that her need to reject death became literally tangible. Ada herself is a thin girl with black straight short hair, and she's extremely introverted. Her stand takes the form of two children that she holds by hand whenever she has manifested them. To prevent death, Ada “Assigns” the other child to the target, and when the target dies, the child's soul takes the target's soul's place, preventing it from leaving the body, sacrificing itself.

『Retire (Final)』

Abilities- Stand Evaluation This is gonna be unimpressive, but hold on. Retire (Final) has the simple ability to give detailed descriptions about any stands abilities. The stand does this by taking in the stand users DNA in any form, and printing a paper sheet with the stands abilities written on it like a document.

User- Martha Glizzard Due to her ability, Martha is one of the core employees of the governments stand department, working closely both with its medical and threat evaluating units.

At 96 years old, she is a very crass and unpleasent person, assuming that everything in the world is against her. This, however, is just a front she puts on, because she hates the idea of anyone missing her when she eventually dies. All of the stand department of course knows this.

Vowel Space-

Namesake- The name is a mashup of the names of two artists, "vowl." and "Sace"

Abilities-
The stands ability is an extremely simple one. The stand holds a bell, that if the stand rings, all stand abilities in a 10 meter radius will be disabled. The stand itself holds practically no combat potential despite having four arms. The effect of the bell lasts until

1. The bell is rung again,
2. The user is knocked out or
3. 48 hours have passed since the bell was rung.
   The user will then challenge his opponent to a boxing match. This, of course, is incredibly stupid against armed enemies. :P

User- L.P. Bell (Luther Perry Bell)
Sir Bell is a snobby looking older man in a waist coat, monocle and leather gloves. His hair, eyebrows, moustache and beard are split in the middle, left side being silver-white, and right side being black. Sir Bell takes great pride in his boxing abilities, and refuses the fact that he is aging, usually stating “the moment the last hair on my head turns silver, I'm done.”

L.P. Bell. a notorious name across Europe. A man, who in his youth, dominated every underground boxing ring from Spain to Poland, despite being from a rich family. He, however, would not stain his family name for anything. The only reason that his parents remained supportive of him, was that he declared that he would bring honor and style to the sport of boxing. Eventually he would move to the United States for the sake of his lovely wife - lovely enough to divorce him the moment she had secured half his wealth. Sir Bell would not hold a grudge however. Since he was unknown across the Atlantic, he took to the hobby of building and fixing antique and vintage clocks, and would build a stable little clock shop in his olden days. However, this man settles disputes with his fists rather than diplomacy. Not with barbaric grunting and swinging fists, but “in style” as he would say. Despite his pompousness, he is actually really good at boxing.

He takes great pride in being British, and is very nostalgic about British imperialism. Which is kinda funny, as he was born after Britain stopped its imperialistic politics. He's also slightly racist.

This character marks the last character I'm designing for my fan part. With the current schedule, the first chapters is set to be published at the end of June so please look forward to that. if you are interested, check out this docs:

『Snow Dream』-

Appearance-
Snow Dream is an autonomous stand. While it cannot talk, it communicates with chirps and other high pitch noises. It has strong emotions and it can feel sad, joy and fear. It also loves toys and animals and will play with them if it happens to spot any.

Abilities- Cloud dream
Snow dream has the simple ability to conjure clouds, that then can levitate around and hold small objects on them. Yup, that is the whole ability. The limit of what Snow Dream can lift with clouds is 1kg.

The stand is extremely delicate. A normal human could defeat it with one finger.

User-
I haven't thought about a user to be honest. This stand was just created because I wanted to make a cute, happy stand :D

『Free Bird』-

Abilities- Jet push
Anything that the stand user or the stand touches with their palm can be propulsed forward with jet-like speed for a brief moment. The propulsion can be seen as a giant blue jet flame behind the object that is being launched. This ability cannot be used on humans, as the tremendous G-forces would outright kill the victim when touched. This of course makes Free Bird a tremendously capable combat fighter. However there is one exception who can withstand the G-forces of the acceleration...

User- Zeff Concord
Zeff is a government agent who works as a butler for the strongest stand user in the USA history, Dorian Miles. He needs a butler because his arms are missing and he cannot use his stand for day to day tasks. this is where Zeff steps in to help him with ordinary tasks like eating, opening doors, etc. Dorian happens to have a supernaturally durable body, and is able to endure the G-forces that come from the acceleration of Zeff's ability. It is Zeff's job to launch Dorian into battle from afar.

Zeff and Dorian worked together for over seventy years, hence why I drew him also old.

Zeff himself is a very closed man. Who knows what goes on in his head. He might have a personality, beliefs, dreams... But I simply wouldn't know it, because he has not told me. (This is not a joke, I sincerely don't know anything about this guy. It is not because of laziness, he just is elusive.)

Also sorry for haphazard quality of the artworks. I was in a hurry.

『Black Hole Sun』-

Namesake- The song "Black Hole Sun" By Soundgarden

Abilities- Sunlight lasers
This is a trip so hold on tight. Black Hole Sun releases a large puff of green fog, about the size of a few apartment buildings. This fog consists of individual chlorophyll cells that float around and gather sunlight. the cells concentrate, empower and direct the rays of sunlight where the user wants them, effectively allowing the user to shoot sunlight lasers inside the fog. these lasers have the power to melt metal, given enough time, but they aren't deadly immediately. There's no limit to how many lasers can exist at ones, so she can practically cage people with lasers, switch their form, anything really as long as its inside the cloud. The weakness of this stand is of course the weather. if its not sunny, the lasers do barely anything. if there is any kind of wind, the fog cloud will be blown away, and the lasers dissipate the moment they are not inside the fog. All things considered, this stand is actually pretty weak. But if the user chooses the day correctly, and can hold her enemies inside the fog, this stand is quite deadly. The stand itself is a suit-type stand and gives the user extremely high defense.

User- Mirelda Zinnia
Mirelda Zinnia is a hitman, though against her will. A gang leader has kidnapped her 10 year old little brother, and is forcing her to do killing to get her little brother free. Mirelda herself is a strong, independent woman, but of course extremely stressed because of this whole situation, plus she doesnt really want to kill anyone! she just likes gardening! (Dont worry, her situation gets resolved in the story :D)

If you are wondering, Zinnia is a Spanish pretty looking flower.

『Dice and Roll』-

Abilities- Bone manipulation
The stand has the ability to manipulate all bone that the stand or stand user touches. This naturally includes all the bones in the users body, but there is not really use cases for that unless the user makes holes in their limbs from which the bone can come through and such. The user carries a lot of bone around them that they can then access quite fast.

The dice motiff comes from dice being made of bones in history.

Also this stand doesn't have a user cuz my sister, like told, doesn't really like jojo.

I’ve been thinking about my own fanpart for around 2–3 years now, and during that time I’ve also been drawing casually. Only recently did my art start reaching the point where the characters actually look like they do in my head, so now felt like the right time to properly introduce these fellas. These were drawn pretty fast, so ignore the little mistakes please. 😭

From left to right, they are Magima Zillmann, Ivy Smolders, Evan Brevik, and Cithan Phobos. The Stand images follow the same order.

My story follows the Stand Deterrence Unit, shortened SDU, a special unit under the fictional Department of Stand Surveillance (DSS) in the US government. DSS handles anything Stand-related, including stopping rogue Stand users before they cause incidents. If a threat is too dangerous or difficult to be detained without loss of human life, SDU is sent in. On paper they are supposed to “detain or dispatch.” In practice, they are basically a Stand execution squad.

This cast is the whole unit. Magima Zillmann is the leader, Evan Brevik is the lethal force, and Cithan Phobos is the long-range specialist. Then there is Ivy Smolders, the main character: an anxious, pacifistic young woman who gets drafted into the government’s Stand business and, because of how versatile her ability is, ends up in SDU.

These are the abilities of the cast:

Magima Zillmann — 『Dramamine』
An extremely short-range, high-power Stand that allows Magima to hide in wave movement. In practice, this usually means moving inside sound at roughly Mach 1. The catch is that this ability requires outrageous combat skill, because at that speed, human reaction time becomes a massive limitation. To use it effectively, Magima needs absurd predictive commitment and timing. He is one of the strongest Stand fighters alive.

Ivy Smolders — 『Needlework』
A short-range, medium-power Stand that gives Ivy control over any cloth fibers she or her Stand touches. This is a stupidly broken power when you think about how much fibers even one shirt contains, and how many things fibers can be made to do. Given enough material, Ivy could probably kill every person near her in seconds. The problem is that Ivy herself is deeply pacifistic, panicky, and struggles with fine control. In practice, she is the weakest fighter in SDU, even though she has the potential to solo the whole unit.

Evan Brevik — 『Crippling Depression』
A short-range, medium-power Stand with the ability to drive anyone to suicide if they clearly see what is under its mask. That sounds absurdly overpowered, but the ability only activates with a proper look. A glance is not enough, cameras are unreliable because of resolution, it only really works at close range, and it affects allies too. On top of that, taking the mask off has a 1–2 second delay. It is devastating, but only if the enemy does not already know how it works.

Cithan Phobos — 『Comfort Chain』
A medium-range Stand with almost no physical power. Its actual ability is simply stabilizing muscles and nerves in its immediate vicinity, allowing for the best performance humanly possible in timing, steadiness, and precision. In practice, this makes it terrifying in Cithan’s hands. When he is aiming with his sniper rifle, the Stand literally guides the barrel, and if hitting the target is theoretically possible, it hits. On top of that, the Stand is partially autonomous, very talkative, and strangely therapeutic. It can also move from shoulder to shoulder to improve someone else’s aim.

I want to make one thing clear: I do not want this to be a spiritual successor to JoJo. I love Stands, and I think they’re one of the best power systems ever made, but I wanted to build my own story around them rather than imitate Araki directly. That’s why I hesitate to even call SDU a “fanpart,” but for lack of a better word, that’s what I’ll use.
