Perspective on the end of a friendship
I had a friend from high school and we were very close. After graduating, we kept in touch relatively well. Here and there for sure. I ran into some major family issues where I nearly became homeless and I was not able to keep in touch with her that year due to my circumstances. I let her know of what was going on and kept it at that. When I got back on my feet, I came to realize that she had blocked me. On every social media platform. I didn’t attempt to reach out to her via text but I’m assuming my number is blocked. It took me a while to figure out that was the case but it still shocked me. From what I knew everything was good. But obviously this is all from my perspective. I truly don’t know what happened. I’m sure her side of the story has more depth to it but I never got to hear it. I wanted some perspective on this. What did I miss?
