Have you ever had a moment when you realize that the way you thought a relationship was (romantic, friendship, family member etc.) actually isn’t what you thought it was?
You just suddenly realize the caring isn’t mutual and the person never really valued you and you were only being used for their own validation, or to keep you below them so they felt superior, or that they may even have contempt for you? It’s a blessing but also so heartbreaking because you can never unsee what you’ve realized and that relationship can never be the same again. Anyone relate?
