Some people share ads on Facebook with semi-nude pictures, and below the post it shows “facebook.com” or short URLs like abr.ge.
When a user clicks the link, they are first taken to a page that shows a scrollable nude ad for about 5 seconds. After that, the user is redirected to another website such as health.com or a similar site connected with AdSense. On that website, the user sees 3–5 ads, and earnings are generated from both AdSense and Adsterra.
The interesting part is that the person running this system does almost nothing except create links for different users. For example, they create tracking links using names like “M603” and then send us a Publytics account email and password. There, we can track our own traffic sources, UTM mediums, pageviews, or sessions.
We only get paid per session. For example, if we generate 1,000 sessions, they pay us around $4. Every day they provide new links, and we buy Facebook accounts to share those links. That is how we earn money.
From my understanding, this setup is using AdSense, WordPress, custom domains, Facebook Open Graph tags, Airbridge, and Publytics analytics. I know a little bit about it, but not the full process.
Can someone explain how this whole setup works and how to build something similar? If I missed anything or learn more details later, I’ll share them in the comments.
