It's my birthday today and why I am expecting my ex to text me?
He broke up with me 2 months ago. Today is my birthday and I'm 1 month into no contact. I been crying all day waiting for a text from him. But it's not going to happen. Why am I letting this get to me?
The breakup was a surprise to me. He drove 2 hours because he was hungover and then he said "we weren't compatible. He was stress with work and his health that he couldn't take on my emotions or struggled. He said it's not me. It's him. He told me he had to work on himself. And he said breaking up with me would give him relief for the future".... which later on I found out that's avoidant behavior. 2 months later and it still hurts.
Also he lovebombed me in the beginning. Gave me flowers, tea and gifts. Told me he was going to work hard to make my dreams/goals come true. Even started looking at wedding venues 2 weeks in of dating!
