my husband has a job in channel view and i’m
looking for recommendations on good places to live that are family friendly and good school district. i have kids in school so that’s top of the list important. also we’re a bit excited to be close to the ocean, are there any places a little more south still within decent driving distance to channel view to live? i’ve read online a lot about the flooding zones. are there places to steer clear of? any info helps thank you!

to add - we will probably rent first before we buy. the relocation with his job doesn’t give enough time to really scope out a good place to live (they give you two weeks max to find a house & buy it) and we learned our lesson with that on last move.
