am i unemployed? orrr....
for context i was going to quit like a month ago because i was being scheduled too much and i had to focus on school, but then my managers were like "we can just put you on leave until you're done with school!" and stupidly, i said, "yeah sure why not!"
cause you know, guaranteed job for the summer! (even though i could work anywhere else)
but the more i was thinking about it over my leave, i realized that i really, really do NOT want to go back. like, i have a bad feeling about going back. i get anxious when i even drive by the location i work (worked???) at, or even thinking about working there again! I was going to quit for a reason!
So i sent an email to my manager saying that i changed my mind, that i'm not coming back, and that i would like to resign effective immediately. i sent this email a few days ago.
because i'm on leave, i can't get onto workjam, but i CAN get onto workday. everything is still the same and i'm still "on leave". i haven't heard back or anything...
has anyone else experienced this??? how will i know when i'm no longer an employee?? do they send you an email or call or what?
