Gym while backpacking

I’m going backpacking for three months and am wondering if people use ClassPass/day gym passes (I assume depending on the city & country) to work out? I usually do strength training and running and would like to use the option to maintain some of it while abroad. Although I know most of the exercise I get will be from walking & hiking :)

Salkantay Trek

I’m doing the Salkantay Trek in Oct, am 30F, work out ~4 times a week (strength training & walking) and have asthma. Anyone else at a similar fitness level have any issues with the 4D trek?

Anyone else experiencing water issues in Dublin 8?

Our kitchen cold tap is working, hot tap has low pressure. Our bathroom hot tap is working, cold tap has low pressure. Neither tap for the shower is working. Anyone else dealing with similar? :(

APC/CROs?

I have a second round interview with APC in Dublin next week but am seeing mixed things on Glassdoor. I’m currently in one of the bigger pharma companies, don’t love my manager but the job itself is grand if a little boring. Just wondering if it’s worth jumping ship or staying put. Will go ahead and give the interview my best shot but anyone have experience with what it’s like?

Pre-test wobble

I did my 12 lessons with a super experience instructor who has a lot of positive reviews and really put me at ease while driving. I feel extremely comfortable and even enjoy driving, which I didn’t think I would.

After 8 months of waiting I FINALLY have a test booked next week. I had a pre test last week which was horrible, my normal instructor suddenly didn’t like anything I was doing. I drove again with my dad and felt grand, and booked another pre test with a different instructor. Then she gave me 4 grade 2s on right turns which had never been flagged as an issue! Does it turn out I actually don’t know how to drive at all? Both pre tests just felt like they were poking holes in my confidence when I feel I am a risk averse and safe driver.
