
Are these bands useful?
I can’t do a single pull up to save my life, not even banded ones. I’m 36F, 188 pounds, 5’5. I’m still working on losing weight (lost 40 pounds so far) which will probably help with doing pull ups eventually. But right now I’ve been stuck doing ring rows for the past 2 years since I can’t even do banded pull ups.
I’ve been practicing dead hangs and jumping pull ups while standing on a box. But I would really like to start trying with a band.
I’m thinking of getting myself one of those bands, they seem to hold more weight than the plain ones we have at my gym. Are they any useful? Is it just a waste of money? Thanks
