So last Friday i went to a club to try it out. The room we were supposed to meet in was in a Bar and when i came in , I immediately got asked what I wanted to drink.

I suppose it's normal, but since I'm an apprentice i really need to look were I spend my money, so I denied a drink, because i can't pay 7€ for a beer.

When I denied I immediately got asked to leave, even after explaining that money is tight.

Is that the norm? I understand that they need to pay for the location, but wouldn't that be covered with the membership fee I'd pay if I'd join the club.
