Maining Multiple Civilizations

Hey guys, what’s it like to main a few civs at the same time? I’m currently in Platinum League, and I’m struggling to play multiple civs. After, let’s say, 20 games with one civ, I start to forget the build order for the previous one. How do you keep all the build orders in mind?

I mostly play French to increase my rating, but I usually lose rating when I play other civs, especially English. I have around a 20% win rate with them.

However, I want to learn the game rather than just go for a knight push every time. My second civ is the Golden Horde, which I find extremely challenging because of the long Castle Age, but I really like it. 😂

Also, could you give me some advice on which other civs I should try?

Golden Hord vs OOTD

Hello guys, I need some advice for the Golden Horde vs. OOTD matchup.

I’m a Gold League player and recently started playing Golden Horde. So far, I’ve been having some difficulties against OOTD’s Fast Castle. I get the idea that I need to pressure them off their deer pack or gold, but they usually have towers and only 5 villagers, which they can garrison in the towers. So basically, it’s hard to find any damage, and they get to Castle Age pretty quickly.

On top of that, they can raid you pretty effectively with just one or two Horsemen.

I’ve watched some games from the pro scene, and high-ranked players usually don’t build any towers, and it looks much easier to pressure them. Is this just a difference in the way the matchup plays at lower levels, or am I missing something?

And one more thing: sometimes when you send units somewhere, they just slowly march there instead of running. Why does this happen, and what does it depend on?

Thanks!
