Heavy Bleeding before FET?
Hi friends. I’m on week 2 of puregon injections. I went in for my my ultrasound and bloodwork yesterday (Friday). They upped my dosage because my follicles seem small still, they said. This morning, (Saturday) when I went to pee there was spotting when I wiped so I went back to bed, put on a meditation to relax. Well, halfway through the meditation I just started gushing blood and large clots. I had to stay on the toilet. Now, I have Adenomyosis and PCOS so your girl is used to heavy bleeding but never so suddenly. I managed to grab an overnight period underwear from the cupboard and slip it on and pretty much soaked that, too.
My clinic is closed today, but I left the nurses a message. I packed a bag for the ER just in case. I laid back down, and it stopped. An hour later it started again but slower but still, large clots. It seems to have stopped. Had it continued that heavy I would have gone to the ER.
Upon googling, it said that bleeding is normal?? Like a shedding of old blood and I even read posts where people experienced bleeding and then went in and their lining was fine and continued with their FET. But I feel like I just lost a lot in one go. Usually during my periods that are that heavy I end up having to get an iron infusion. Sigh.
I didn’t do anything weird yesterday, normal errands after the clinic, took the dog for a walk. I took a COq10 vitamin, and used my red light over my abdomen as I read it could help with egg growth, as a long shot.
I’m worried because this is my Hail Mary. my last embryo and therefore last transfer. I’m paying out of pocket and already spent over $2K on meds and I’d hate for this cycle to be ruined as in all honesty I don’t know if I can afford to pay for this again without putting myself in debt. Has this happened to anyone before? Thanks in advance. Xo
