I am from Australia and I recently bought a ryobi drill for casual household use. But when I went to drill into a post on my fence using the correct drill bit, it barely drilled a 10mm hole and then started smoking . I searched online to see if there was any solutions l. But then I realised that my drill doesn't have the torque adjuster thingy, I then searched online to see the exact model of it and I couldn't find my model anything anywhere. Why is my drill different to every other drill model I see online. And why can't my drill, drill through wood easily as the others???
