My cat is peeing blood
My cat 1 years old, 5kg male cat has recently been peeing blood, 3 days ago I brought him to an emergency vet due to frequent litter trips and I noticed there was blood and he wasn’t urinating much. He visited the vet and stayed over night where he was given an antibiotic injection and was monitored, they suggested that it could be FLUTD, he was given medication to help his bladder and discharged after about 15 hours, they checked for blockages however there was none and they said that there was blood in his urine but the antibiotics should help. Today when checking his litter I noticed blood again, should I bring him back to the vets or give time for the antibiotics? I’m so worried about him. Apart from being more quiet than usual he is his usual self. Eating and drinking with no issues.
