Does anyone know how I could possibly clean the actual motor/fan in my range hood? I try to wipe it but it needs an actual deep clean because otherwise it just drips small amounts of oil constantly

Looking for some advice on our current mortgage set up and if we should fix our floating loan or keep it as it is.
We bought our home in July last year which is due to be refixed at the beginning of next year but we got a loan a couple months ago to renovate our kitchen, this was over the low equity margin so it adds an extra .30 percent which we weren’t concerned about. The bank told us to go floating so we could make as many payments as possible without penalty, our renovation will be finished early next month and then we’ll be able to start making extra payments as we’ll be done with any extra costs outside of our loan.
Currently I put away $390 a week into savings after everything is paid off so I’m going to putting a portion of this every week into paying back the floating loan but that will vary from week to week.
With the risk of floating rates increasing I’m wondering if I should change the loan to a fixed rate, I know asb lets you make up to $1000 per month extra repayments without penalty on a fixed rate.
Is it worth switching to fixed or is it much of a muchness?
