[LFA] Fallout: “Birdie” Robbins - Aviator/Mechanic/Boomer

[LFA] Fallout: “Birdie” Robbins - Aviator/Mechanic/Boomer

I’m about to be a player in an upcoming TTRPG campaign. We’re going to be playing XP to Level 3’s Fallout System and I was looking around for inspiration on a character to play. It’s going to be a homebrew rendition of the canceled Fallout 3: Van Buren game.

The year is 2255, Bernice “Birdie” Robbins, is a young woman from the Boomers Faction (from Fallout: New Vegas) who has had enough of her tribe’s insular ways and wants to have a life of adventure. She earned her nickname “Birdie” from gaining the highest score on the flight training simulator from her home base and has set out to find a real plane she can fly. After being rejected entry into New Vegas, she joined up with a caravan heading east up the Colorado River as way to earn some money. In Utah, near the Colorado border, she was attacked and captured by a group of Prewar Automatrons who had mistaken her for a prisoner who had escaped from a prewar prison in the mountains of Colorado. They confiscated her Pip-Boy and fitted her with an old prototype used to monitor Prisoners vitals called a “Prison-Boy”, which she I now unable to remove. In this prison, where a few others who have suffered the same fate, if where the adventure begins.

Birdie, is about 19-20 years old, she was an apprentice mechanic and is aspiring aviator. She dresses in the standard Vault 34 Jumpsuit that the Boomers retained from their vault, which she has adorned in all kind of prewar patches of brands and characters; she also wears a Bomber Jacket with the number 34 on the back and has an Aviator’s hat and necklace made from 7mm bullet casings. Like the rest of her faction, she is a bit of gun nut, she has known how to shoot since she was old enough to pick up a weapon. She has an affinity particularly for explosives, making her own homemade grenades as well as energy weapons for their highly volatile nature. She gets her adventurous spirit from the prewar media she has consumed, as her faction brought some over from their former vault. She is a bit anti-establishment as she grew up hearing the tales of oppression of the Overseer of Vault 34, who tried to restrict access to their weapons so they couldn’t defend themselves when it came time for “population control”. She is a bit cautious of outsiders as she was told they were all savage raiders, but she wants to meet new people to see for herself.

I appreciate anyone who takes time to check out the post!
