New to London dating..
I'm 29F, he's 31M. We matched on a dating app twice .. he liked my profile both times. First time we briefly chatted before he went off the apps for a few months due to family commitments and a job change. We rematched after that.
The lead-up to our first date was slow on his end. He took about a week to reply when we were trying to schedule, because of the new job. I sent a gentle nudge, he apologised and proposed a specific day.
He came straight from work in his work clothes. Drinks at a pub. Conversation flowed for hours.. lots of playful banter, kisses, he asked thoughtful questions, we sat in comfortable silences (while playing with fingers and cufflinks too). He told me I'm "easy to talk to and know what you want," said my eyes were attractive, called me cute. There was clear chemistry on both sides(i thought so).He paid the bill and said "treat me next time" despite me offering to split multiple times.We kissed goodbye outside the pub (not just a peck). He told me to message when I got home.
I messaged that night to say I got home safely. He replied briefly but warm. Then there is no reply for 10 days and he hasn't unmatched. He hasn't engaged in any way.
What do you think this means? Did I read the date wrong, or is this just how it goes sometimes? This is my first time trying dating in london
