Local notes in the note app not loading/gets corrupted after exit
I just got the note air 5C and updated to version 4.2 about 5 days ago. I used the notes app to jot down a few pages worth of notes for classes. Today, when I tried reopening these notes the notebook loads but there’s nothing on the screen and the pages go down 1/1xand it doesnt wanna add any pages either. I’ve already tried clearing the cache and restarting, but no dice. I then tried making a copy of the note, but no dice. I tried making a different note with nultiple pages and the same thing happens when I reopen either - unresponsive blank screen with tools and pages down to 1/1.
Is there any way to retrieve the notes? Apart from saving the note prior to closing, is there something I have to do to prevent the note becoming corrupted?
I dont have a boox account and would prefer not to. I havent linked/synced the notes to any cloud. Kind of disappointed because I have been saving up for this device for months and it’s not delivering on the note-taking aspect as marketed…
