How much days prior shall I shift in hostel before first day of college...??

I am taking admission in geu deem this year and I want to ask is 1 lakh 85 thousand worth it for double sharing in Bhagat Singh Hostel or should I keep searching for pvt pgs..??

(I couldn't find a good hostel outside till now that's why I am asking)
