This totally caught me by surprise the other day when I want to look at skechers shoes and I happen to see these Skechers backpacks. They are copies of the Northface Borealis.
One of the things I learned since going to my first AX is that most places/spots are open for sitting. I recall walking through this area a couple of times every day of AX an I would see groups of people sitting there chatting or eating because there isn't enough places to sit down and have a group conversation with your friends. By the way, the artist alley is up ahead to the left hand side.
At AX we see a lot of aspects of Japanese culture. Although Japanese anime is the central topic at AX, we often see other things that are from Japan. I had a great time listening to this event.
This event ran for about 2 hours so there will be more clips to come. And I do not know the name of the song that they are playing here.
I usually, I pass by the LACC a day after the AX has ended. These pictures were taken this past Monday. AX is really good removing almost all related AX signs in order to vacate the premises.
I often come to AX for seeing cosplay, getting free stuff and checking new things out. But I also believe that we need to leave a positive message. The Exhibitor & Artist Lounge area was empty on an early Sunday morning. If you get a chance to read some of the positive messages left behind on this wall, they are a reminder that this event can bring many people together.

This and other reasons why I go to AX. I like to be part of the community that helps promote unity. In this case, through dance.
Normally these are present for AX goers to use for back ground presence for their cosplay or other things. Walking around the LACC I did not see these. Maybe someone saw them or they were placed at another part of the LACC?
Given how we move very close with other AX goers, please shower and use deodorant. Everyone will appreciate your efforts.
Sometimes you will encounter people who are inviting AX attendees to vote for a specific manga/anime character. This guy was friendly and just by seeing the amount of sticker-dots on his poster, a lot of people did participate. Let's by friendly to these people, because they go out of their way to make everyone's day better at the expo.
We are getting a few questions about parking near or around the LACC for this year's AX event. I have posted two pictures of two places where people can park: The Bloc and Moxy Hotel. Yes, they will cost you an arm or a leg but they are near by the LACC location. However, please read the following. Most parking places in DTLA are not trust worthy and many cars get broken into and their merchandise is stolen. So park at your own risk.
Can someone reach out to the admin's or MOD's and have them update the banner info. The current one is displaying last year's AX info. And yes they can use this picture if they like. Thanks in advance.
Some artist don't like it when people take pictures of their work without their expressed permission. Always ask for permission *before* you take any pics. Let's have a safe and fun Anime Expo.
People, the temperatures this summer are going to be hot and since AX takes place during the summer season, please look for these signs. As always take care of your self and while visiting the LACC, take a bottle of water and stay away from the high temperatures during midday. If you have any of these symptoms while visiting the LACC, please ask for help.
One of the things that people find very interesting is Artist Alley at AX. The creativity that some people have is on display for people to see and buy. Pack your patients because this area of AX gets very crowded and it moves very very slowly. I usually devote 3-5 hours in this area alone in order to check every stand and every art piece on display. Also, take lots of money if plan to make many purchase in the Artist Alley.
People, it's important to understand that when certain rules are placed for everyone to follow, your cooperation is important for making this event possible. Yet, some people choose to ignore that and sit in front of the sign that *clearly* states not to sit. Please respect and follow the rules. Otherwise this event can get shut down.
