United flights from Erie to Chicago now delayed until Oct. 2027 ✈️

Saw it said “Oct 2027” on the airport website so I messaged the airport asking if this was correct or a typo and they confirmed that they’ve been postponed from this October to October of ‘27 due to FAA mandated flight caps out of ORD.

The question is, will the situation at Chicago be any better in a year? Maybe United should just connect us to IAD and call it a day.

Another failure on the part of the Port Authority

The fact that this huge piece of land has sat vacant for 6+ years is a massive failure on the part of the Port Authority. It’s prime waterfront real estate, is it really that hard to find a developer for it?

I wasn’t in favor of demolishing the building that was there. It had a lot of character and probably could’ve been rehabbed. But now it’s just been a gravel lot since 2019 with no prospective plans.
