Hello, first time here. Not sure if this is categorized correctly, could use some grace for that.

An artist posted on Reddit in a bunch of different forums and I liked their work and I went ahead and commissioned five pieces with them. It's been about two weeks since I paid the half up front, half when it's finished deal, I guess? I gave them descriptions of what I wanted and images for reference. I received a rough sketch about four days later. Haven't heard anything since. I reached out to them about three days ago, just asking what the timeline looks like for when these could be done, and I haven't heard anything. I don't want to name the artist because it's possible that they are actually working on this and they're just terrible at communication. Is this normal? They had no socials in their bio or anything. They are from Brazil.
