This is a terrible confession but having gone through a dui myself , my new favorite thing to do is look people up on the New Mexico court case lookup website anytime I see them posting on Facebook about being newly sober 😩 and 9 times out of 10 it’s a dui or drug related charge.
How screwed is my boyfriend? This is his second dui but it got dropped down to a first. He already did house arrest, community service, MADD program, dwi school and he’s almost done with outpatient treatment. Well yesterday he was going to autozone to get parts for his car that has the interlock. It was literally the only time he hasn’t driven that car and of course he gets pulled over! To buy parts to fix it so he can actually drive it. The cop said he could have arrested him but didn’t because he had his 10 yr old daughter with him. He’s freaking out that he’s going to have to go to jail for the remainder of his probation (February 2027) this is in New Mexico. Any ideas of what to expect?
