[all] Find fanfic Greek(?)Jason sided with Kronos and be punished by Zues & Poseidon

I remember Jason grew up in ChB, I don't remember if he was the son of Zeus or Jupiter.

He sided with Luke and Kronos.

After losing the battle, he was severely punished. If I remember correctly, Zeus and Poseidon personally punished him.

I remember Thalia being forced to stand outside and listen to her brother's screams. There seem to be a few scenes where Poseidon drowns him or something.

This fic also has some of Jason's POVs about why he did that.

Percy is also in this fic. I don't remember if he was the son of Poseidon or Neptune.

I'm not sure if there are any romantic pairings.

I just remembered it, so I wanted to ask if anyone knows. I remember reading it on Ao3.

I've posted before but didn't find anything, I hope I'll be luckier this time.

Thank you so much

[general] Thalia and Jason must be as strong as their cousins.

I know this is an old idea, but I just had a conversation with a friend today so I wanted to complain a little.

Grover said that because Big There's children had such a significant impact on the world's development, Three Brothers swore not to have children. That might be a lie woven to conceal The Great Prophecy. But many characters have said that Big There's children were forbidden because they were too powerful for most demigods, right? The facts prove that to be true.

(By the way, what if they had children with men??? Because mrpeg exist in this world and they've all had male lovers.)

Percy and Nico are so powerful that they're sometimes almost unrealistic. They both have their own book series to develop (although there's still much debate about character development and story consistency).

And I heard that RR once said Percy, Nico, and Jason were equally strong. I'm not sure if he actually said that. But Jason is clearly the most wasted potential character. Bro was the main character in the first book and suddenly became a side character. But let's not even mention the brick jokes. I swear RR forgot how amazing Jason's background was after realizing the fandom hated him.

He was destined to be the only demigod to rival Percy and the perfect opponent. Their paths were quite similar. They were the only two demigods to have ever defeated a Titan in the Second Titan War. They were both leaders, possessed powerful offensive capabilities, and were both brilliant strategists. Both were commanding leaders in war and were the primary offensive force. Both were shaped by who their fathers were and struggled to prove themselves. And let's not forget Jason was 14 during the Titan War.

Hazel is also undoubtedly the most powerful female demigod in Greek-Roman Pantheon. She doesn't have much space for development, but she's clearly the most powerful demigods in her generation.

I didn't even want to start with Thalia. What do you mean she's become so weak that the hunters were slaughtered by Orion and had to flee before Reyna killed him? I have no problem with Reyna, she's definitely Annabeth's counterpart. She'd be even more popular if she had more screen time. But theoretically, shouldn't Thalia be stronger and more experienced? After joining the hunters, she completely faded and disappeared from the storyline.

Furthermore, why didn't Thalia and Jason get any time together? They only met a couple of times and the next time, it happened. Whyyyyyyy????? My children deserve more sibling moments.

Justice for Grace siblings!!!

Sorry if you find these arguments boring. Just my complaints.

I'm about to give up hope for a book series about Jason and Camp Jupiter . Helpppp!!!

[all] When did Annabeth give up immortality for Percy?

As the title says, lately I've been seeing people say that Annabeth gave up immortality for Percy.

Where did that conclusion come from? And can someone explain to me if that's plausible?

Because I swear I don't remember her ever being offered divinity.

Thank you so much ❤️

Edit: And what issue caused this post to receive so many downvotes?

Shattered by BobInTheComments

Hello everyone.

Has anyone here read "Shattered" by BobInTheComments?

I'd like to read it but I'm a little hesitant because of the tags. The length and summary are quite appealing.

I don't mind spoilers. Should I be worried about the tags? On a scale of 1-10, how brutal would the experiment mentioned in the tags be?

Thank you very much.

Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/10793172/chapters/23940162

Summary:

The world is hardly ever what it seems.

We have seen our heroes fight monsters, gods, titans, and even the very Earth itself. But, there were rules and procedures to be followed. A clear defined path to victory.

Now the enemy has no limits, no safeties, no restraints.

Or Mortals aren't as blind and powerless as the gods seem to think...

Today I'm going to continue creating drama.

I've seen these same videos and arguments hundreds of times. I've also read countless comments.

I don't deny the extraordinary fact that she was able to hold the sky for so long.

Sorry, but the only person who consistently gets credit by fandom for carrying the sky is Annabeth. (Not Percy, not Luke, not Artemist, or Atlas. Yes, I know Artemist is a goddess and the other one is a Titan.) People don't even care that Percy is carrying the sky other than that it's proof Annabeth has a perfect boyfriend who would burn the world for her, or, as in this picture, make her the victim.

That's one of her most powerful achievements, proving she has immense willpower. It's always one of the main arguments fans make to prove she's the strongest demigod. (besides another reason: she controls Percy.)

And nobody ever praises Percy for carrying the sky except in these videos. People only start arguing when someone complains about Annabeth not being worshipped enough.

Can you praise her without belittling others or distorting the concept of feminism?

Now even praising Percy has become sexist.

Canon never even mentions it, except for the time Annabeth injured her ankle and compared the pain. No one belittled her because she's a woman. If I had to start the double standard people apply to Percy because he's not a woman, I'd go crazy.

Blame someone or the author for not developing her character. (I'm being sarcastic.)

Or simply avoid comparing them and don't get angry when contradicted.

These are just my complaints. Have a good day.

Edit: Hey everyone, I think we’re getting off track from the topic I brought up. But whatever, never mind.

Today I just reread one of my favorite fanfics and wanted to recommend it to everyone.

Be Careful What You Wish For by Thunderbirdswolvesandlilacs in AO3.

This is the best fanfic out there—it analyzes Annabeth’s psychological development with such precision and brilliance. Annabeth’s intelligence and arrogance are portrayed exceptionally well.

I really love Percy’s roommates, including his nephew, the son of Chrysaor. They’re very caring of him. And Chrysaor, in the role of an unwilling older brother, is hilarious.

And Percy is writing the PjO books. The entire pantheon is reading The Lightning Thief outside the main storyline, and this fanfic shows the impact of that.

The wonderful friendship between Percy and Hermes that we’ve forgotten after PjO. Plus, the gods act like the gods they are.

Spoiler: >!I’m really impressed by the architecture of Olympus. And Percy is ascending.!<

My favorite part is the comments section. If you’re interested in this fic, don’t forget to check out the comments.

The analyses are all fantastic, spot-on, complete with direct quotes and the books you can find them in. Plus, everyone has created a mini-Discord in the comments section. The short fics about the Titans are hilarious and unique.

Summary:

Annabeth Chase always got what she wanted.

Even at the age of seven, armed with only her own single-minded determination and half-thought-out plans, she was convinced that there was more to her destiny then rotting away at Camp Half-Blood summer after summer.

She wanted to leave Camp. Go on quests. Lead quests. Prove her worth to the world. Face her destiny and fulfill her dreams of being an architect. Building monuments that would last a thousand years and making her mother proud!

And she'd done it all and then some. In fact, she was one of the greatest demigods of her time!

But now, she had a different type of war in front of her to plan for: The future.

She had the fame. The titles. The recognition. She'd survived three wars, encounters with four different pantheons, and still somehow managed to make it through high school. Now she wanted that fabled happy ending. She wanted the college degree. The house. And the husband.

And nothing was going to take that from her.

She should have known better than to tempt the Fates.

By the way, in case you haven’t noticed, this fic will feature Percabeth’s breakup and Annabeth’s downfall.

Speaking from my own experience, this fic doesn’t belittle or make Annabeth OOC at all.

And the lengthy analytical comments in this fic’s comments section have convinced me that >!Annabeth has twisted the story to make herself look better during missions. >!!<That’s why, after talking to Annabeth, everyone who had once respected Percy and seen just how talented he was began to look down on him and think he was useless without Annabeth. !<>! She’s also the one who covered for Luke during the heist. There’s no way she didn’t figure it out.!<

There are many other conclusions drawn that are equally reasonable. If you’d like, you can find every detail and exact wording in the canon.

Edit: Please don’t attack the author or others just because they don’t like RR’s Annabeth. There’s a comment thread in the latest chapter where they’re discussing a version of Annabeth in a parallel AU. I really like her.
