> Major Korean webtoon platforms such as Naver Webtoon and Kakao Entertainment have shut down 'TuMangaOnline', a large illegal webtoon site in the Spanish-speaking world.

> Naver Webtoon and Kakao Entertainment announced on the 27th that they had cooperated with webtoon platform companies and the Copyright Overseas Promotion Association (COA) to block the site. This action is the first case in which webtoon rights companies have achieved results by directly responding to local laws overseas.

> COA member companies such as Naver Webtoon, Kakao Entertainment, Lezhin Entertainment, Reedy, Kidari Studio, Toomix, and Topco Media participated in the response. They identified the local management team in Spain through their own investigation, and the COA cooperated with local investigative agencies and courts to lead to the closure.
