Who actually decided our last names as Moroccans?
The usual explanation is that last names came from occupations or family reputation or something the family was unique for but a lot of last names seems meaningless and absurd . So who actually chose them, and when? What generation exactly or what date did Moroccans start choosing last names instead of using the names of their fathers
