Provisioning Issue
I need a clue!! Short story: Galaxy phone on Dark Star, every 4-5 days since activation the data and text stop working, account dashboard shows zero data usage and texts on this line. Talk usage looks correct.
I activated three lines on US Mobile 18 days ago. We brought our own phones, my husband, me, and an elderly friend, and have a by-the-gig plan. So happy to be paying less!
Around five days after the activation my friend called (he's 77 and lives 45 minutes away). He couldn't access data or text. I spent several hours chatting with online support. During that time I noticed that, on my dash board, there's no text and data usage for this line. The other two lines are accurate. I did all the tricks, sent two MEI's, re-entered the APN, rebooted, etc. Finally, the tech did something related to bucketing? The phone worked...for several days.
This has happened twice more. The Customer Experience team sent an email after the last chat assuring me the provisioning issue was permanently resolved. This morning, around 7:30, I get another call...
I don't want to cancel my service but I don't see any other option. Help!
