I'm blaming Weston Wilson for all of this...

Trying to wrap my head around yet another Oriole blowout loss, I've decided to find a new scapegoat for this current stretch of futility. I've concluded that it's all Weston Wilson's fault.

In the pre-Wilson era, the Orioles were 9-8 on 4/14, 0.5 games out of 1st place in the AL East.

Wilson joined the team on 4/15 against the Diamondbacks in OPCY, and he immediately went into the lineup. His Oriole debut featured him misjudging a fly ball in LF in the top of the third, leading to a rare early lead getting erased in what eventually became a 8-5 loss.

The team has gone 12-19 since (which counts tonight's evisceration)—but 5-11 in games Wilson appears in.

The Orioles are literally a .500 team without him…
