I bought three Baofeng UV-82 8W radios and ran into an issue where I can't change the power output. Quick switching using the "#" key doesn't work, and when I try to change it via the menu in either mode (frequency or channel), the setting immediately reverts to "Low" as soon as I press "Menu" after saving the selection. I’ve already tried resetting the devices and scouring the internet, but nothing has helped. I’m hoping someone here can tell me what the problem is. It’s clearly not a defect—all three behave the same way—so there must be some logic to it that isn't mentioned in the manual.
