With the recent viral AirAsia X flight incident where a PRC passenger berated the AirAsia flight attendant for not being able to speak Mandarin and the displayed of her unruly behavior, many netizens have commented that this type of behavior reinforced outsider's perception of PRC nationals who are stuck up, rude and uncivilized when travelling both domestically and internationally.
