Branch Allotment.

Hi everyone, One of my friends got 15000 rank in AEEE and wants to know which of the branches and campuses he would get . He belongs to OBC . Someone misinformed his father that students will be divided based on the slabs and it affects the quality of education! Is this true. Someone pls give the details. Ty.
