"nausea won't stop

Bland and cold was the unlock for my brother on Mounjaro. He went through 2 weeks of rough nausea on his first dose and again every time he titrated up. The stuff that actually worked:

— frozen Greek yogurt cups (Chobani's the right size + protein density)

— ginger anything — chews, fresh-grated ginger in plain broth, ginger tea before bed. Ginger isn't folklore on these meds, it genuinely settles GLP-1 nausea

— plain rice + a few oz of chicken if he could face solid food

— cold > hot. Hot food smells were triggering him for a week+

Things that made it worse: anything fried or creamy, big meals (his stomach physically can't hold a normal portion early dose), and not drinking water (dehydration cranks the nausea up).

Usually settles after 5-7 days at a new dose. If it doesn't, worth a call to your doc — sometimes they bump the titration schedule back a step.
