Car Trade-in For Dummies?
Sadly my dad and I have been out of touch, so I need a dad. I have always had his help when it comes to car stuff, but this is my first time doing things solo.
My car is 2017 Nissan Rogue with 146k miles. It is a great car, however, I am fairly certain there’s something going on with the transmission. I am taking it in for a diagnostic check tomorrow, but I am preparing myself mentally because I am afraid it will be thousands of dollars to fix my car to the point of it being better to try to trade it in or sell it.
I do not know how to make that decision or how to sell/trade in a car. My car is completely paid off and has been for a few years now. I don’t have a ton of savings, and I know cars are really expensive now. Sadly, I do need a good reliable car mainly for work and my commute, but I also want it to be as great as this car was for camping and travel.
Can a dad explain how all this works? Thank you in advance, this is such a cool group!
