I have a X430 that has been great. After the recent firmware update, this is consistently happening:
I have to manually tell it to finish mowing that zone.
Anyone else seeing this?
I’m curious about everyone’s mowing height, I’d like to cut lower but was told around 3” is ideal, especially during the heat of the summer. I set it to 2.75”. It sounds like setting it too low can impact turn performance (I have an x430). What do other people set it to?
I just bought mine a few weeks ago, and am trying to figure out what level of maintenance I need to do to keep this thing operational and performing.
What do you consider the bare minimum?

I sent this to Segway and got this reply. I’m surprised at the default logic built into the scheduling feature. I had a lawn mowed at 100% from the previous day and when the scheduled time to mow came the next day, the mower got to the zone and turned around because it was already at 100% progress.
I now have it set to have mowing cycle on, but that makes it mow the full scheduled time, even if it already has mowed 100% of a zone (meaning it will possibly mow the same zone 2-3 times until the schedule says to stop).
For such a great device (x430 here), this is a silly software issue they should be able to fix easily. The mowing history literally tracks how many times the zone has been mowed that day. Just mow once and move on!
