I hate sharing my room with my brother.

I'm a 24-year-old woman who's currently being forced to share a room with my 41-year-old brother whenever he stays at our family home. I've tried explaining to my parents how uncomfortable this makes me, but they refuse to understand no matter how many times I bring it up.

My brother visits frequently and apparently has nowhere else to sleep. The problem is that none of my other siblings are willing to share their rooms with him, so because I'm the youngest, it's automatically expected that I should.

This has been going on for about two years, and I genuinely can't take it anymore, sometimes he stays even up to 5 months. I feel like I have no privacy, no personal space, and no one respects my boundaries. As an adult woman, I don't feel comfortable having a man in my room 24/7, even if he's my brother.

I'm currently a student and don't have the financial means to move out, which makes me feel trapped in this situation. Am I being unreasonable for wanting my own space and privacy?
