OCD Skin picking, healing advice?

Hello, i have been struggling with different forms of skin picking/hair pulling since i was about 13. At 25 or 26 I was diagnosed with OCD and something I’ve been struggling with very much the past few years is picking my legs. This all started with tweezing my leg hair and it became kinda obsessive and soothing for me. But of course that caused me to get lots of ingrown hairs on my legs which in turn led to me picking even more turning into a vicious cycle. My legs are my biggest insecurity at this time I don’t wanna be covered with scars and wounds. I got better for a bit but due to some extreme life events and personal stress I fell off. I’m committed to really doing my best to stop but in order to do so I need some advice.

  1. Best things I can do to support healing and prevent ingrown hair (spotting ingrowns trigger me to pick)

  2. Best products you can recommend for this.

  3. Any other tips you may have for me.

Thank you for reading and for any advice you may have. I’m deeply ashamed of my scars and picking activity, and I feel like I have no one in my life that understands where I’m coming from or what this feels like.
