Triple 55" or odyssey g9?
I've only ever raced on single 55" as of now so ALL OPINIONS will be listened to and considered. Please come at me from all angles. Thanks guys.
Anybody know WTF was going on last night?
Haven't seen that many lights since the arsonist incident a while back.....
My R5 is recognized by the game, in calibrate controls everything registers just fine, then I get on the track and my clutch and brake are maxed out and throttle doesn't register at all.
I have tried reversing my inputs in pit house to no avail, as well as putting negative value on steering in the .JSON file.
What am I missing?
Some of you may remember me from previous posts as a self proclaimed computer idiot in need of advice.
Well I'm BACK AGAIN!
You guys steered me clear last time so I came back for more help. I will save the rest of the blah blah blah and ask my question.
Will this laptop run iRacing and other sim racing games smooth? I'm currently playing with my rig on a 55" tv at 1080 at 60 fps on my ROG ally with settings on the high end of low but get nasty breakup in big races. Now that I'm D license in every class I am in need of a more capable PC.
My buddy has this for $800 CAD and I'm intrigued.......
Asus rog strix g16
16inch 165 hz
i7 13650hx 14 core 20 threads
32 gb ram
Rtx 4050
512gb ssd
Thanks again brothers, you guys have got me to a place in my setup I am super happy with and eternally grateful for as a guy who is computer illiterate. 🫡

I have no idea about computer specs and stuff, I am currently playing iRacing and ACC on my ROG Ally but my buddy has a PC I can grab for cheap but I don't know ANYTHING about what I'm looking at.
Will this be an upgrade from rog Ally? I get about 70fps on low/medium setting 1080p but only during 15 car races. 40 car races jam me up quite a bit.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Hey guys, so after my experimental period with sim racing I have decided to invest in my future further but I am an absolute idiot when it comes to computers.
For context, I am currently playing on my rog ally on a 50 inch tv because it's what I have, but after playing sim games for about 6 months I'm ready to invest in a setup.
I'm wondering any prebuilt recommendations because I neither have the time to learn how to build a PC nor the time to build it.
The more I research it on my own, the more I get lost and frustrated in the model numbers and letters and walk away.
I AM on a budget, BUT I'm flexible to ensure it's SOMEWHAT future proof.
This will be my first PC so I do intend to learn more about building one after I have one as I am a MUCH better reverse engineer than one from scratch.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for being a dummy, I work heavy civil engineering so my specialty is being 15 feet underground, or building your roads, 🤣
