How to get over the jealousy of my new boyfriends ex
Myself (20F) just started dating my boyfriend (21M) like very new relationship. I’ve never dated anyone before so I’m already working on the insecurities of dating someone who has. I know he dated his ex for maybe just over a year and that they broke up because she was cheating, but I have no idea anything else about her at all.
We met on a dating app and live an hour apart so I know no one from his social circle and vice versa. I just have this odd weight of jealously thinking whether I’m anything like his ex, whether that’s looks, personality, in bed, socially, anything! And what is killing me is not knowing ANYTHING about her, idk how long ago they broke up, what she looks like or her name.
I know reasonably I shouldn’t find out otherwise it could be worse, but is there any advice on how I can work around this offset jealousy because I don’t want to start this relationship off with that kind of mental hump.
