I got staples 6 days ago and anytime the area is touched it’s painful and very sensitive. The redness hasn’t subsided at all either and I’m noticing some scabbing around the staples. Should I be concerned or is this what the healing process generally looks like?

I got stitches 6 days ago and the redness has not subsided at all.. I’m hoping this is how the normal healing process looks but I thought the pain would have been reduced by now.
