Is this normal for my wound to look like this? (*sh* if not allowed I'll delete)

Is this normal for my wound to look like this? (*sh* if not allowed I'll delete)

I've kept a bandaid over it for about a day and when I took it off they looked like this. I put some Neosporin on it along with another bandaid after that. I was just wondering is this normal? Is it infected or what? I don't know if posts like these are allowed so if not I'll just delete if a mod says so.

PLEASE HELP! T Junction opening 6weeks post breast reduction

Hello everyone, I am currently six 6 weeks one day post Breast reduction. I am sending daily updates to my doctor and keep getting advised to keep applying polvos de sulfa to heal my wound and keep the area as dry as can be. At 4 1/2 weeks, my incision opened and I had slough, and I got new stitches put in place, which you can see in the photo and I still currently have them in place. I do see an opening. I just want my incision to close. Any advice? I would really appreciate it. This feels like it is taking forever to heal and I am losing hope.

Should I leave this open? + how to heal this slough?

Hi guys, this is a skin graft over the knee. It will be 2 months in June. The doctor and wound care nurse has given the OK to go ahead and leave it open. Except for the fact that there is some raw areas.

Told to put fucidin ointment on those and QV cream the rest of it. However I don’t know how I feel about leaving the raw areas out and exposed. It was being dressed AG silver dressing and I’ve been continuing to do that to the raw areas - my question is should I continue dressing it with AG silver dressing on the raw areas, everytime I take it off, bits come off and I don’t know if that’s bad.

One area that’s giving me really bad anxiety is that yellow dot you see there. The first circled photo is it 2 weeks ago, then the second photo is it a few days and ago and as you can see there’s crust formed over it (idk if it’s skin forming or dried up ointment?) and now today when I took the dressing off it’s gooey yellow slough again.

Should I just leave it open and especially that bit exposed?? The doctor said they put artificial skin on it first then the real skin on it and it’s expected to slough over tendons.

Will that heal? Any advice would be so appreciated. Is the skin graft looking ok and will the pink areas heal too?

Any advice at all would really appreciated. You might wonder why I’m not totally following doctors orders but the reality is the only reason he had to get this skin graft is because this doctor majorly destroyed my brothers knee and I had no other option but to stay this hospital due to other health complications.

Wound care advice

Had a nasty fall the other day. Was putting antiseptic and some antibiotic cream called Mupirocin. I stopped using the antiseptic because I think it was irritating it more. Well now I’m wondering if should stop the mupirocin. Yesterday am before work all I put was antiseptic because I thought it was healing.Well after I got home it had pus and was moist. So when I got home I stopped the antiseptic and only did the mupirocin 2 times. Well today it looks all dried up and irritated. I don’t know if I should continue the mipirocin or switch to just like neosporin. Btw I got the antibiotic ointment from my dad who had an even worse fall a month before! I attached a picture of what it looked like when I took my gauze off today after using the mipirocin.

Do my stitches look infected?

I got stitches 6 days ago and the redness has not subsided at all.. I’m hoping this is how the normal healing process looks but I thought the pain would have been reduced by now.

Do my staples look infected?

I got staples 6 days ago and anytime the area is touched it’s painful and very sensitive. The redness hasn’t subsided at all either and I’m noticing some scabbing around the staples. Should I be concerned or is this what the healing process generally looks like?

Is this infected?

For reference I’m 18f 5’2 and 138lbs. I got cut by my bedframe, the same day (yesterday) I swam in a lake and went to work without covering it. It’s sore a little bruised, and for some reason the area is really hot. Is this something I need to go to the doctor for?

T junction wound

I am 16 days PO from a breast lift and slight reduction side with augmentation. My right sides (the one reduced a bit) has an opening. I know they’re coming and my surgeons been notified and says they’re watching it via my portal where I upload police daily (I live 5.5 hrs away)…. They’ve instructed I shower daily and wash with mild soap with my hand carefully, coat it generously with aquaphor then keep gauze on. It has been opening up a little more daily and even though they say it’s fine I’m SO scared. I’m beyond stressed about this and just looking for support. I’m terrified it will keep getting bigger everyday until something bad happens 🥺

I don't have access to wound care products except for an antiseptic spray. How do I heal this? Primarily hypodermis with fascia peeking through the deepest part. I can't go get stitches.

Ripped my stitches. I need to go to the hospital on Monday to get my "stitches checked." So, the wound is from self-harm. As a result, my mother has thrown out ALL of my aftercare supplies because she thinks I won't cut myself if I can't disinfect/bandage. This is so wrong. For the past ~14 hours I have been using the bandage that was given to me at the hospital. I have no access to anything else. I disinfected it with an antiseptic spray, that's all. I know that since the wound is from self-harm, I need to get treatment. I genuinely cannot right now. Please just give me advice on how to practice harm reduction when I have no medical supplies. I just need to maximise healing until Monday because I don't want to get stitches again. If I get stitches, I'll only rip them again, possibly exposing the wound to infection. I know it's currently very likely to be infected but I'd rather take the chance once than twice. Please, I need advice.

Does this look normal?

Forehead/scalp laceration repair done by OMFS about 6–7 days ago with layered sutures. I’m concerned about the yellow/white crusting and some hard/elevated areas along the incision. Does this look like normal healing for 1 week post repair or possible infection/incision separation?

Piece of Non-Adherent Pad healing into my knee

I wrapped a Non-Adherent pad on my knee without lubrication/ointment yesterday. When I removed it a small layer had been healed into the injury. Do I need to break up the healing skin to pull this out? Or can I leave it?

Does this look like an infection or is it just normal healing?

It’s just a tiny wound, about 6 x 4mm, on my thigh. First 2 pics are from a few days ago, last pic is today. I’m slightly concerned about the white/green colour that’s more visible in the earlier pics, it’s kinda scabbed over now though so it’s not as visible. Just wanna know I should be worried about that, or if it’s just part of normal healing? I’ve had issues with my skin in the past where it would start out with a small patch of dermatitis/irritation, then get infected and spread and take ages to heal, and I’d rather not have to deal with that again. Should I just leave it alone or is there anything I should be doing to sort it out? Thanks 🙏🏼

Ate a curb

Best products to clean the rest of the dried blood off my eyebrow? Been using saline over and over again, doesn’t seem to do much work.
