Palo Alto MA in CMHC

Anybody going to PAU for their online masters in counseling? I'm in SoCal and all of the CSU programs are extremely impacted and competitive. PAU is twice the price, but seems more reputable than something like Saybrook in Pasadena. I'm wondering with financial aid if I could stay out of major debt with PAU.

Also I'm curious how the online cohort is. I do like that the classes are synchronous so you actually attend online instead of just getting readings. I'm social and want the community, and think I could possibly meet up with anyone in LA who is in the cohort.

Anyone have any info? Thx!

Putting baby to bed awake

What does this look like for you? How did you get there?

My 17 month old needs her nurse-to-sleep association broken. It’s been a tough couple of days of trying to find a new routine. We were very cozy nursing sweetly to sleep together, but her nights were up and down and I was getting stuck in loops of nursing for an hour+ to get her back down. We are laying her down and letting her CIO. When the heck will she do this magical “hanging out in her crib playing with toys and babbling” that I see other kids doing?

Ahh it’s good to be back. My 17 month old had been doing well overnight, we cio’d night nursing and had been sending dad in to rock her during wakes lately. Dad does naps. We moved and dad was away for a while, and got back into the habit. We are now having several night wakes that take over an hour to resolve. I nurse her and then fail the transfer a few times.

Our schedule is, give or take an hour, wake at 8am, 5 hr ww, nap 1-2:30 (cap at 2hrs), 6.5 hr ww, bed at 9ish.

Bedtime routine is dinner, bath/teeth brush, dad reads, mom comes in and seals the deal with the boob. This has worked for so long.

I need sleep!!!! How do I break the nursing association for sleep? It’s been her entire life. She is an absolute boob goblin in the day and I’m SAHM so she nurses on demand, sometimes just a drive by sip, sometimes to doze off. Help!

Editing to mention she keeps waking up at 6 grumpy and too early! She’s clearly not ready to get up. We have been holding her til a decent hour.

It seems sad, I repotted it a few weeks ago after I bought it. I’m not great with plants so hoping someone can tell me if I’m overwatering or if it’s getting fried in the sun? It was super bright and healthy when I got it.

I water one a day in the morning, I don’t drench the soil but shower it a bit with the hose maybe 5 seconds total. Trying to be detailed lol!
