Moving out made me realize I didn’t know basic home stuff, so I built something to help

I recently started living on my own and honestly realized I was missing a lot of basic “life skills” around home stuff.

Things like cleaning properly, small chores, or basic maintenance always ended up as random YouTube searches, and the advice was often all over the place.

It felt a bit overwhelming trying to figure everything out from scratch every time.

So I ended up building a simple chore guide app called Home Chore Guides that puts common tasks into step-by-step guidance instead of scattered info.

Just curious if others went through something similar when moving out for the first time, or if you eventually just figured it out over time.
