Decisions decisions (questions about commissioning)
Hi i have questions
Im thinking of doing commisions to help mom out (dont worry nothing bad happened just wanna help)
But at the same time, i wanna complete volume 1 of my comic by june 30 (or july 10 😵💫)
So i thought of two likely scenarios for my decision
Commissions:
I earn some money and I need to try to balance my time making my comic and working on the commissions
Thing im worried about is that
I might end up getting burnt out and giving worse results, and deadlines (summer break has been shortened so i cant take my sweet time)
Try to fund my comic:
I have a gdrive full of my most recent pages
And i usually make 1 to 3 pages a day
Then i can occasionally post extra content or art of my comic
First volume is eventually going to be free to read for all
Then only half of the second is free
The rest from then on are paid
This might be the smallest way to earn income, but at least i dont stray so far away from my goal
What im most worried is that what if i dont keep updating once school starts
People might feel scammed and i dont want that for them
What do u guys think i should go for?
Annd is there a secret third option
