Apartments

Any big families in here live in an apartment? We’re currently a family of7 in a 3 bedroom apartment and trying to move. But lately I’ve been thinking if we really should. What’s your setup if you live in an apartment? How old are your kids?? Any goal to move?

Kids switching schools TWICE

I posted in the moving sub but I’m more comfortable here so hopefully you guys can lend some advice or reassurance…

my family and I (myself, husband and 5 kids- 3 of whom are in school) are moving soon. We need our sale to be final on our apartment before finding and putting offers in on a house. Because of this there will very likely be a while where we are without a home. I have a family house about 2 hours away that I can stay with the kids for the in between time. the problem is… my kids are going to have to start at their old school for a month or 2, switch to their temporary school for x-amount of time and then finally (most likely after a few months) switch to their permanent school. anyone had to do this? please tell me I’m not a horrible mom ruining their lives.

(kids are 1st,3rd and 5th grade)

Big family & well water

so we’re currently house hunting as a family of 7. most of the houses in our price point and area we are looking run on well water. anyone have any opinions on this? the idea of bathing 5 kids, dealing with 5 kids needing to use the bathroom at the same time (why is this?!?) and the crazy amounts of laundry make well water extremely intimidating to me. we recently visited my brothers upstate cabin which runs on well water and we had a really bad experience. once toilets were flushed the shower water literally went non-existent. it was a rough end of the night and it really made me second guess if I want to deal with it in our forever home any opinions or experiences?
