Making Manga Colored First?
I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit so apologies in advance,
I want to make a Manga but my brain genuinely struggles a lot with black and white, or, maybe my eyes do rather. Either way I was thinking about making it in color, but that got me thinking about potential problems, like physically publishing it would be more costly because of color, since my art is digital I could just take away all the saturation for that, but I understand the techniques for shading and stuff will appear differently from a colored image going to black & white, vs a Manga originally made for black and white.
I wanted to ask for your guys general input about the pros and cons of doing it this way as well as what you guys genuinely prefer that's easier for you to visually take in, an original black & white Manga or a colored Manga with the colored removed, which just to clarify I do know will have different outcomes since different techniques would be used.
