Hi all, I’m a student (24M), been wanting to try ice skating in Singapore for a while now, but also a bit hesitant cuz the scene here seems really niche.

I saw JCube closed a while back, and the only existing rinks are Kallang ice world and ice penguin? I’m honestly worried about getting into the hobby only for Kallang to close too.

Also, is it common for adults to start skating here? I can’t tell if most beginners are usually younger kids, so I’m a bit worried about feeling out of place starting this late.

The sport looks genuinely fun / freeing, just wanna understand the reality of ice skating in SG before diving in. Hoping to hear from people familiar with the skating community here.
