Council member Lundell took it upon himself to interview 12/19 people who applied for Shaun Myers vacant city council seat. Council will be voting on who they want to replace him tomorrow. I recommend checking out the interviews and emailing city council your thoughts on who your pick would be for Shaun’s replacement. Do it today.

Filling upcoming Ogden City Council vacancy.
Just getting this info out there. Councilmember Shaun Myers resigned last week and council
Is now looking for his replacement. Here are a list of those who have put their name in the ring:

The process for filling this vacancy doesn’t really have public input which is concerning. There is already talk of some back room agreements.
Most notable- Jeremy Peterson. During the last election Jeremy had Jase Reyneveld signs in all the rental properties he owns around the city (IYKYK).
The pic posted has more info about Jeremy and his dealings with his fellow men.
Encouraging anyone with strong opinions of these applicants or who should fill the role to email city council. They will ask each applicant the same three questions and have a vote by city council on the 21st.

Our local Christian nationalist, Brian Suave of Refuge Church is putting on a money making conference at the Davis Conference Center June 11-13. I’m hoping to apply pressure to the Davis County commissioners and any businesses involved to prevent this event from happening, or at least let these entities know the person they are promoting.
A person who called for the stoning of young black men.
