Traffic ticket not in system, can’t get anyone on the phone
Hi all, hoping for some advice and seeing if anyone has experienced a similar issue. I received a traffic ticket (cell phone violation) on 6/1, with a notice to respond or appear in court on 8/26. Ticket is sheriffs office / county of riverside. I still have not received anything in the mail, and I can’t find record of the ticket in the court online system. I have called dozens of times and the automated system says to call back during off-peak hours (which I am doing, still no answer).
I live in Los Angeles (I received the ticket while driving home from a trip in Arizona), so going to the Indio courthouse at 7:30am on 8/26 is not exactly easy for me to do. Is that my only option? Or will I be turned away at the courthouse if ticket is still not filed?
Losing my mind not being able to get anyone on the phone to at least ask why it’s not in the system. I have tried looking the ticket up by the number at the top, and by the agency case number. Am I missing something?
